An Investing Destiny Affirmation

It has been almost two years since I last seriously read financial news or invested in stocks.

Japan, nature, peace and a very different way of living gradually took over my mind and heart.

Yet over the past few weeks, a thought quietly came back to me ~ more than once;

“Is it time to get back to the market?”
“Can I get back to investing again?”

While spending some time back in Singapore, I heard stories from friends who were still working hard towards financial freedom. And something inside me stirred.

I found myself thinking again ~
Stock investing can be a powerful tool for achieving financial freedom, if we know how to use it wisely.

Suddenly, it felt as though different things around me were slowly pointing me back towards the market.

So this morning, as an investor who has spent years developing and testing Investing Destiny, I opened my own ID chart again.

And stared at it.

My 2026 chart showed that one of my strongest Investing Destiny periods was the Chinese lunar 3rd month (roughly April to May).

But I had been completely out of the market! I wasn’t following financial news. I wasn’t watching stocks. Market trends were no longer in my mind the way they had been during my 20 years in the industry.

For more than 20 years, however, my sister has been beside me, often mirroring my investments. Even while I was away from the market for the last two years, she continued watching it. And so I asked her:

“During the Chinese 3rd month, around April to May, was there any big market action?”

She shook her head.

I asked again : ~ “So 2026 has been pretty quiet? Nothing really happened?”

Then she paused.

“There was one stock. XXX. It went up a lot.”

I immediately asked for the name.

I pulled up the technical chart, and I went…. “OH. AH HA.”
The stock had risen almost 100% within weeks.
Then I looked at the dates, and my eyes widened.

The major move had happened during the Chinese lunar 3rd month.
Exactly the month that had stood out on my Investing Destiny chart.

And, the XXX stock matched my investment rules. If I had listened to my ID chart and started watching the market during the Chinese 3rd month, this was exactly the kind of stock I would have been looking for.

I told my sister: ~ “My Chinese 3rd month shows 命禄 + 财太阴禄.”

Then I asked: “What about yours?”

She checked.

“命双禄.”

My eyes opened even wider. My hand hit the table.

“AHHHHHH!”

Then I reminded her: ~ “Remember one of the Investing Destiny concepts?”

Look for opportunity during a 禄 month.”

She nodded.

And for a moment, I simply stared at my chart. I had been away from the stock market for almost two years. I had not been following this stock. I had not been watching the market. Yet by opening my 2026 Investing Destiny chart and looking back at the strongest period, I had somehow landed on a stock that had almost doubled within weeks ~ during that very period.

For me, it felt like another quiet affirmation of the Investing Destiny concept I have been observing and testing for years.

Not a promise that every 禄 month will produce a winning stock. Not a guarantee that a chart can replace market knowledge, research or risk management. But a reminder of why I created Investing Destiny in the first place:

Timing matters.

And perhaps the chart can help us know when to pay closer attention.

This experience awakened something in me. I immediately started studying my 2027 Investing Destiny yearly and monthly formations.

And somewhere inside, I heard the thought again: ~

“Maybe it is time to return to the stock market.”
